I particularly enjoyed studying and copying the human figure from various periods of history of Art, especially intimate portraits. Each figure challenged me in a different way: either I tried to deeply understand the temperament of an individual ( through the artist portrait or his subject), or to render the energy of the brush stroke and luminosity of oil color. It was captivating and this experience allowed me to understand the specific style of each piece of art.
